President BIO:  

Jim Marx is the President of Great Opportunities, Inc. an independent Franchise Consulting/Development firm since 2004. Jim specializes in all aspects of franchise development, marketing, consultant/broker networks, and sales. In addition to Great Opportunities, Jim has gone through the process of investigating franchises personally and was the owner of The Growth Coach Territories in Eastern DuPage county, IL and a Master Franchisee for Wings-Pizza-N-Things in IL.

 

For the past 15 years, Jim has helped businesses create a buisness plan and launch thier business and also identified issues in businesses then corrected them instead of the owner having to close the business.

Prior to starting GO, from September 2002 to May 2004, Jim was an Information Services Manager with Sodexho for 10,000 PC users throughout the US. From July 1980 to September 2002 he was a Senior Manager with Sodexho/Marriott responsible for 18 locations in IL and assisted in opening many new businesses in the US. Jim's passion has always been assisting others through a coaching process to help people and businesses succeed.

 

When not in the office, Jim enjoys time with his wife and teenage son, traveling, all sports, construction, gardening, reading, cars, watching movies and being with friends.
